Happy Holidays. And slow down.

’My end-of-year thoughts for you and your pipeline.

Life is cozy here at Keltic Lodge on the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia.

The wind is howling, snow is blowing, Atlantic Ocean is crashing!

The fire is crackling. Oysters are being opened. And lobsters are being boiled.

We always have boiled lobster over the holiday season. With melted butter and homemade rolls. Not much else! Just lots of lobster.

So, my last thought for you for this year as I lick the butter off of my fingers is this:

SLOW DOWN.

And I don’t just mean in the holiday sense of slowing down and enjoying life - I do mean that, too.

I mean in 2019 I’d like you to consider what your pipeline would be like if you were to:

SLOW DOWN your sales cycles

SLOW DOWN and co-drive better

SLOW DOWN and listen more

SLOW DOWN until you know your buyer’s problem

SLOW DOWN and ask important questions

SLOW DOWN and build a relationship with your buyer

SLOW DOWN if you don’t have a champion

SLOW DOWN and make sure you know who your competitors are

SLOW DOWN, above all, SLOW DOWN before you submit a proposal.

Slow down. I think you will like it.

Happy New Year!
